What is The Butterfly Box Project?
The Butterfly Box Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving families in the Southeast Georgia Region. We are committed to helping children, teens, and young adults process their experiences with life-threatening illnesses by providing outlets for them to process and document their experiences.
Providing kids, teens, and young adults with the tools to process their experiences and create positive memories
We provide families with boxes that are specifically curated to the unique interests of each member. We support the entire family, from the diagnosed child to every sibling and parent. Our thoughtfully curated boxes include journals, scrapbooking supplies, instant cameras, and other meaningful items to help families capture memories, process emotions, and find moments of joy during challenging times. Every box is a reminder that no one faces this journey alone.
